This soundscape is an exploration of my current relationship to the subject of microplastics. As a hyperobject with a scale that is difficult to comprehend, the knowledge of how to act becomes equally vague. How can I make choices in design and consumption to stop contributing to the problem? Spin Cycle speaks to the complexity of the issue, questioning issues of responsibility, culpability, motivation, overwhelmedness, and cognitive dissonance.
